Obwohl Gospel und Soul sich die Waage halten, kommt der Verdacht von Frömmelei nicht auf -„Electric Love“ passt genauso gut in die Kaschemme wie die Kirche. Für die 13 Songs muss man keine großartige Exegese betreiben, denn es ist letzten Endes egal, wie man sie versteht. Egal, ob man die Songs  als die übliche Partnerwerbung oder als Predigt hört, Brother Wallace ist mit seinem Charisma gleich überzeugend.
